Does this provider select and train its caregivers?
Our caregivers go through an interview process. They have to pass the criminal back ground check, their social security, driving record, professional and personal references are also checked.
Does this provider supervise its caregivers?
Our caregivers are supervised and trained by our coordinators to ensure quality care.
What kind of payments does this provider accept?
We do not accept Medicaid/Medicare. We accept checks, credit cards in some cases, long term care insurance and payments from the VA.
Is this provider available 24 hours a day seven days a week?
Our caregivers are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 day, live in/out.
What if I want another caregiver?
We want to make sure that you are 100% satisfied. If for any reason you are not happy with a caregiver, we will gladly send a replacement.
What if my caregiver is sick?
We will do our best to send a replacement for the day.
Can I meet the caregiver in advance?
Yes, during the initial home assessment, we match the caregiver with you based on your needs and personality.
Is this provider insured?
We are insured and bonded.
What areas do you cover?
We cover a large part of Suffolk county and Nassau county. If there is an area that we are unable to cover, we partner with other agencies that might be able to assist you.
Is there someone available to talk to after office hours?
Our voice mail is on 24 hours a day and it is frequently checked. We provide a direct number in case of emergency where you can reach someone. However, if it is a medical emergency, you have to call 911 |
