Ideal Home Care Services is pleased to offer the SimpleMed medication dispenser. SimpleMed is an advanced weekly medication organizer designed for home use. It simplifies the task of managing multiple medications and helps ensure the right medications are taken at the right time. It’s a great way to effectively manage medications for a loved one.
User Friendly
Ergonomically designed - SimpleMed is as easy to use as a pill box, and provides a new level of medication management and supervision. Setup is quick and easy.
Information & Reminders
A display screen provides important information and instructions such as “Take before meals”. The system can direct users to take medications not stored in the SimpleMed, such as eye drops or insulin. Custom messages can be created and monitored for compliance.
Monitoring & Reporting
If a dose is missed, or an attempt made to take medications from the wrong compartment, the internal alarm sounds and instructions are displayed on the message screen. Compliance information may be recorded and stored for review by clinicians or family members.
Subscription Service
The SimpleMed works great as a stand alone pill organizer, but its most powerful protection is afforded through the optional monitoring service. This provides outbound notifications via text messages or email in response to recognized problems such as missed dose or wrong compartment opened. An advanced two way voice communication feature allows users to quickly connect to a caregiver if they have any questions or concerns.

Reliable and Convenient
The SimpleMed provides up to 4 dispensings per day, 7 days per week. The appropriate compartment illuminates one hour prior to a scheduled dose. If the appropriate compartment hasn’t been opened during this hour a musical reminder alarm will sound from the SimpleMed unit. Opening the compartment turns off the reminder light and alert tone. Using our optional monitoring service, if an hour passes without the compartment being opened, SimpleMed alerts the data center, causing an email and/or text message to be sent to the caregiver. This information is documented on a secure website, accessed with permission by the caregiver. This information can be critically important when a doctor is deciding on dosage adjustments.
